The overarching objective of the Workshop was to support and further promote the exchanges between Beneficiaries and urban areas through sharing knowledge and good practices on local vulnerability, impact and risk assessments, cost/benefits of adaptation solutions, local adaptation planning and implementation of solutions as well as local disaster risk reduction strategies and their implementation.
The regional event supported urban adaptation in terms of promoting climate change adaptation actions at municipal level and fostering cooperation with the Covenant of Mayors initiative and Making Cities Resilient 2030.
The Workshop was a regional event aimed at supporting urban adaptation in terms of promoting climate change adaptation actions at municipal level and fostering cooperation with the Covenant of Mayors initiative and Making Cities Resilient 2030. The Workshop focused on the European overview, urban adaptation activities within the TRATOLOW region and urban adaptation and resilience experience from cities outside the region, as well as addressing guidance along the Urban Adaptation Support Tool (UAST) from the Covenant of Mayors and experienced signatories and implementation of urban adaptation.
