TAIEX TRATOLOW Workshop on the status and progress made on Nationally Determined Contributions
The aim of the Workshop was to provide guidance so as to increase the ambition and further development on the implementation challenges of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) ahead of the upcoming Conference of the Parties (COP) 26 to be held on 31 October to 12 November 2021.

The Workshop focused on connecting the Paris Agreement climate neutrality and resilience targets with the NDC updates. Advice on the underlying implementation challenges including mainstreaming and integration of a climate lens and corresponding measures, finance, sectoral implications, as well as the harmonisation, consistency, comprehensiveness and conformity of NDCs with the National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) was provided.
