The aim of the domestic workshop was to raise awareness for the need for adaptation and provide a platform for exchanging experience and taking stock of recent developments on, and potential for future deployment of climate change adaptation policy.

The domestic event provided an informal discussion space to further progress towards developing a National Adaptation Plan (NAP) as well as promote the Climate-ADAPT Adaptation Support Tool (AST) use, e.g. for: strategic policy process, awareness raising, planning, development of guidelines, etc. At the same time, the workshop intended to highlight and discuss how the AST can be used tailored to the real needs of users.

The last main objective of the domestic workshop was to inform about reporting requirements on adaptation. How this reporting is linked to adaptation policy development along the Adaption policy cycle, using the Adaptation Support Tool.
