The Workshop focused on the implementation of the Energy Union strategy in the Beneficiary countries, status of drafted NECPs of the six WB countries and Türkiye and presented QA/QC procedures and MRV in place. During the workshop, the methods on how the NECPs can be checked for consistency, comprehensiveness and conformity with the Governance Regulation were discussed, as well as major requirements of the European Commission. In addition, stated targets were discussed and the experiences between the member states and beneficiaries exchanged.
Moreover, EU MSs presented their experience in a process of development underlining gaps and challenges as well as expected changes in governance framework in order to ensure NECP implementation.
